Staying true to the roots
Every Rootz & Grained piece begins long before the workshop — it begins with the wood itself. We source reclaimed root systems, fallen trunks and naturally shed antlers, then let their shape decide what they will become. No two pieces can ever repeat.
Our craft is slow and deliberate: hand-carving, patient sanding through nine grits, and food-safe, museum-grade finishing that protects the wood while keeping its story visible. From a sculpted dining centrepiece to a lamp that glows like a campfire, the attention lives in the details — the underside you will rarely see, the edge your hand will always find.
